I’m Hamish, the founder of HK Adventuring, and these photos capture just a glimpse of my latest journeys.
Most recently, I returned from Bolivia, where I had the incredible experience of leading my first ascent of a 6,000m+ peaks. It was a remarkable challenge that allowed me to explore how high altitude affects the body, while pushing myself in new and exciting ways.
Earlier this year, I spent time in the Italian Alps during the winter, chasing snow, but I’m equally fond of climbing under the warm sun. In the summer months, you’ll often find me back in the Alps, tackling alpine routes across the stunning French and Swiss glaciers.
And finally, I couldn’t resist sharing a photo from Scotland with my trusted adventure partner, Flo. We set out in search of snow… but instead found rain, wind, and bog — the true Scottish experience!
